NW9 Nails is part of AAK’s IN OUR HANDS Programme, Established in 2018 on Grahame Park estate - a free Nail Bar Space for young people aged 10-25. NW9 Nails is a partnership between AAK and charities Youth Realities and MAC UK. Together we offer a range of creative activities & support through specialist access to mentoring, including YPVA/IDVA domestic abuse support, practical support including housing, benefits, school and support with mental health and wellbeing.
We have been funded to provide a creative safe space for young women, girls, trans and non-binary people in Colindale and the West Borough of Barnet. We are co-producing and redesigning our provision across two strands, one for ages 10-16 and one for 17-25 year olds, this includes parents and caregivers and those not in education or employment (NEET).
Opening times are 3-6pm bi-weekly on a Thursday, and will soon be open every Thursday.
